Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Roovy, the AI assistant and contacts/follow-up product offered at roovy.ai and over WhatsApp (the "Service"), provided by Roovy ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use Roovy

Roovy is intended for business use by adults (18+) acting on behalf of themselves or an organization they represent. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure.

2. The Service

Roovy helps you capture business cards into contacts, manage notes, tags, reminders and meetings, and talk to an AI assistant over web chat and WhatsApp. Some features depend on third-party services you choose to connect (Google, WhatsEase, Krosspost) and are only available once connected, and only for as long as that connection remains valid. Features, plans and limits may change; we will give reasonable notice of material changes.

3. Plans, credits and billing

Roovy is offered on a free plan and paid plans with monthly credits, card-capture limits and feature entitlements as described on our Plans page at the time of purchase. Paid plans are billed through Razorpay. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout. We may change pricing for future billing cycles with notice.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the contacts, notes, card photos and messages you provide to Roovy ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you. You are responsible for having the right to share any contact information you upload (e.g. business cards you collected directly).

5. Connected accounts and AI actions

When you connect Google, WhatsEase, Krosspost or another account, you authorize Roovy to access that account's data as described in our Privacy Policy and solely for the features you use. Consequential actions — sending or replying to an email, creating a contact, booking or cancelling a meeting, creating or deleting a Drive file, and similar — are only carried out after you explicitly approve the specific action shown to you. You are responsible for reviewing what you approve; Roovy is not liable for an action you approved that produced an unintended result.

7. AI limitations

Roovy uses AI models to read business cards, answer questions and draft messages. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Review anything the assistant drafts — especially an email, a new contact or a reminder time — before approving it. Roovy is a tool to assist your work, not a substitute for your own judgment.

8. Third-party services

Roovy integrates with third-party platforms (Google, WhatsApp/Meta, WhatsEase, Krosspost, Razorpay and others). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or acts of those third parties. Your use of those platforms through Roovy is also subject to their own terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using Roovy and disconnect any linked account or WhatsApp number at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for a violation of these Terms, non-payment, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, Sections 4, 10 and 11 survive.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roovy and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you via the app or WhatsApp. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
